x am very happy to have yor letter of the 15th instance.
We are sending you a Jayhawk Rebound number 18. If after reading this, you
want some of the previous Rebounds that we have a surplus of, we will be glad

to send them. J thought tiat I had better let you write me and inform me ,
if you want some of the old ones. I. have not written a number 19 Rebound but
hope to do it in the near future. So many boys have returned that we are

\ having difficulty in following them in their travels. We have a great pile
6f Rebounds and I still want to serve the boys who are avddd in the service. .

sine travels} You certainly have been places. Yes, the boy that you
speak of on the BeZ4 bomber was a boy from Holton and he loved Kansas tre-
mendously. I had a aneny about him in one of our Rebounds and sent a copy
to his parents.

I am awfully sorry to learn eteut your buddy, but we will bd
happy to see you back, because, after all, we must live for the living. We
have great respect dnd admiration for the boys who gave their all and I am
hoping that we don't forget the things that ‘howe boys aia for Use
