Dear Dr. Allen:

I remember Mr. Simpson very well but I did not know until I received
your letter, regarding his Army career. I think I have never met
Mrs. Simpson. We probably will have an opening in the position of
Dean of Women, and I shall therefore be very glad to hear from Mrs.

‘Simpson. I am looking for someone who is quite well qualified in

Student Personnel work, and in the sponsoring of Student Life Activities.

We enjoyed very greatly having the Malotts with us nearly a year ago.
We hope you and Mrs. Allen will visit us whenever you have the
opportunity. As you know, you have large numbers of friends in
Warrensburg and among the Alumni of the College, and it would not only
be a source of satisfaction to Mrs. Diemer and myself to have you visit
here, but also to many others.
