Dear Sir:

The Reception Center "Missions" will place a strong baseball club
in the field this spring under the teutalage of Private John Sturm.

In addition to meeting the best of semi-pro teams in this area it
is our hope to schedule games with college and university nines who
are in the St. Louis area on their road trips.

We have three baseball diamonds on the Barracks grounds and have
also made arrangements to use fields in the city. In the event your
team will be in this neighborhood this spring and you would be in-
terested in scheduling a game I would appreciate hearing from you.

Inasmuch as our games will be played admission free it will be
impossible for us to make arrangements regarding traveling expenses
for visiting teams.
