Dear Phog:

I received your letter about the baseball and we are
very glad you are going to play us. We would like to ask for a
change in date on this if you can arrange it due to the fact that
we have made some other commitments fearing Kansas might not be
able toplay us.

Ofc Could you take us there on Monday and Tuesday,
April 27 and 28, instead of April 24 and 25?
OK Would it be possible for you to come to Columbia
on May 18 and 19, which is Monday and Tuesday?

If you can/make these changes we will tpy to clear
our schedule for dates that are satisfactory to you.

Please wire me collect Monday morning if these
dates are satisfactory and if so we will consider the deal closed.

Will do whatever you can to do about the fraternities.

We plan to play games on April 24 and 25 and May 15
and 16 so our pitchers will be worked as hard as yours if we agree
on the above dates.

I am sorry now that I made these other arrangements
but we felt we wanted to have 14 or 15 games if we didn't meet
Kansas and that is the reason why I made some other negotiations,
although we can get out of them.
