Big Six Conference rules prohibit varsity teams playing independent teams. However, during the Summer Session, which starts on May 22, it may be possible for the Summer Session team, which is not under the cont#ol of the Big Six eligibility rules, to organize a league and play games with Haskell, the Machinists Mates, the Sunflower Ordnance Works, and perhaps an tisepenten’ team, from purely a recreational standpoint. This would give our students enrolled in this summer session an opportunity to play real baseball. Of course, ‘the intramurals will be emphasized as definitely during the sumer session as they have been in other academic terms.
