; In reply to your letter of April 16th, I am happy
to send you a copy of the booklet we have for all our stud-
ents desiring to major in Physical Education. I am sure

At the present time, in the ‘rmy and Navy they are.
accepting for Officers’ Training men with physical education
. majors. That is, they may secure a B. S. degree in Education
with a major in Physical Fducation. Before the war there
were only tiree schools = “pringfield College and two special-
ized schools = who offered a major in Physical Biucation.
Now we have three hundred schools offering this work. As a
result the#e boys are now going into the fmy, Navy and Marines
to be physical directors. , ae
