DODGE CITY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL DODGE CITY, KANSAS aon December 6,‘ 1941 Mr. F. C. Allen Director of Physical Education and Varsity Basketball Coach University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Mr. Allen: The last bulletin has gone out concerning our 3rd Annual Basketball Clinic. I am enclosing eight copies for you. I thought the boys might possibly want a copy to look over. We have thirty-two teams entered in addition to the 'B' squad and the Junior College. As you can see from the schedule, it is not going to be any sort of a vacation for you. You are going to have a full two days. As you can see, we start at 1:00 Thursday afternoon and run straight through to 10:00 with about an hour and a half off for dinner. We then start Friday morn- ing at 8:40, and as far as your day is concerned, it goes straight through until about 10:00 with forty-two minutes off for noonday lunch and about two hours for evening dinner. If plans work out like I think they will, you will probably be expected to make a short talk at that Friday evening dinner. It looks like the greatest of our three basketball clinics. 'Frosty' Cox did a good job last year, but I am sure that you and your boys are going to exceed last year's clinic a lot. There is one thing sure, you are going to be able to see almost every team in Southwestern Kansas. We are bringing them from a radius of almost a hundred miles in all directions. We will hope for your boys to help you in your Friday after- noon demonstration and we would like for you and them to put on about a twenty minute demonstration at the half of the Emporia game. You are working the Emporia game. We would be glad to have one of your boys help.
