Stadium

Dear Dell,

I have had Bill Winey, a student here on the Hill to look
ever our golf course and make recommendations. The enclosed
notations ere what he recommends and I want to do as much as
is possible to improve the greens, fairways, etc.

On Nove 6 Patty Berg and Helen Detwiler the national champion
and the third ranking player respectively in women's golf will
give a demonstration at 2:30 on our University golf course .
Therefore, I am trying to got this in shape so that the students
and visitors who watch the exhibition will be impressed by this
nifty little course.

You will remember that a few years ago we had Glenn Oatman —
work his wey through school by taking care of our course »
This young Bill Winey comes on with the same

Therefore, I would appreciate it when he looks you up if you
would give him cooperation in the way of men and implements
that he needs. Winey is a fine little worker-very polite
and I know that you will like hin.

I would like that his suggestions be followed as closely as
possible.

I would like to get about 25 gallons of oil and a load of sand
at the earliest possible moment.

After you have read the recommendation and this letter I would
appreciate it if you would stop in at your convenience.
