Dear Dr. Allen:

The democracy forum sponsored by the University of
Kansas in the interests of national defense, and in which
you have so graciously agreed to participate, has attracted
the interest of the American Bar Association. Chancellor
Malott has received from the Junior Bar Conference, a subs
sidiary of the national association, a request for copies
of the addresses being delivered by University of Kansas
faculty members in this project.

Should you have a copy of the address you planned, we
would appreciate very much having one in order that we could
comply with the wishes of the law group. I1 would not suggest
that you go to the trouble at all of preparing a special
copy, but in case you have an extra one handy, I think it
would be a good thing if we could cooperate with the organ-
