Dear Dr. Allen:

We appreciate your fine response in the matter of the
democracy forum which the University is sponsoring. Re-
quests for speakers are beginning to come in, and it is quite
probable that soon after the holidays we shall be receiving
a good many calls. . Undoubtedly, too, you may receive some
personal communications relative to your speaking on the
listed subjects. Inasmuch as the Chancellor is anxious to
keep a close check on the state's response to the progran,
we will appreciate your advising Guy Keeler of the speakers!
bureau of the extension service in case any requests come to
