Of course, we do not expect you or anyone, even
the University, to keep the gymnasium open on Sunday, but
if the children were not starved for play, or were given
an opportunity to play so as to fill this desire, then
they would not endeavor to steal the sweets of which they
feel such a great poverty.

Se have repeatedly asked the members of our
Board of Education in Lawrence to do something about this
very pressing problem, out to date, nothing has been done.

I called Neal “herry two months ago, but he very
politely said, “Phog, I will report it."
