Dear "Phog":=

I have been recently appointed Baseball coach at
Rockhurst College here in Kansas City, and I find that no
constructive work has been done as to a schedule for 1941.

I would like very much to schedule a home and
home game with Kansas University, realizing of course that
your schedule is more or less filled and controlled by your
conference.

I have booked tentative games for April 18th, 25th,
also May 2nd and 9th, but the balance of our schedule is open
and we would be pleased to fit into any plans and dates other
wise that you might formulate.

Has been a long time since I have had to compete
against the Allen Clan - never will forget the old K.C. Athletic
Club days and the battles on the old field at 52nd & Holmes.
Every time one looked up here came an Allen, either Pete, Hubert
or Dick, and they were tough competition too.

If you can fit us into your picture will appreciate
it very much. We will have a splendid, well balanced club, am

going to await word from you before endeavoring to eonp uate a
schedule so let me hear from you as soon as possible.
