A few years ago I mde a film for the Pastmen
Kodak Company on “Basketball Pundemertals" for their teach<
ing flims division, im this film we showed Dr. Meienith
Jusping to push the ball out of a beach basket. ‘You could
doubtless get sane marist baskets, or a banana basket, 18
inches at the top, that will slope dow to the botton to
about 10 inches.

Many college and miversity extension divisions
have this film for rental, and you might be able to secure it
in Des Moines if you care to show it. Our om University of
Kansas Extension Division has the film for rentel purposes,
and if you would write then I am sure you could obtain it.

in this Jcttime Drs Neienith is shom pushing —
the ball out of the basket after every goal. the players
wore long trousers and querter=length sleeve shirts. Most
of the balls wre throw over the head. ‘The push shot or
the underhand shot was not employed in those days.
