Our Y.M.C.A. Leader's Club is planning on giving a demonstration
on New Year's Day of their interpretation of how one of the
first games of basketball might have appeared to the spectators.

As Physical Director at the Y.M.C.A. in Cedar Rapids, I secured
Dr. Naismith as speaker for one of our young men's banquets, so
I met him in 1937.

As one of the Y.M.C.A. Secretaries I am attempting to promote
a Memorial to Dr. Naismith from the Y.M.C.A. Physical men.

I would appreciate any material or suggestions you may have
since you were quite close to Dr. Naismith. In regard to the
above feature of our program, I would appreciate receiving any
information you may have to offer.
