We have three boys here, of the same general type, size, and of equal ability. Two of these boys are seniors and of college calibre. I feel certain these boys will do some coach a lot of good. I'd like to have you meet these boys and measure their possibilities as individuals. To this end I have the following suggestions: We are experimenting in democratic control. Part of the student plan is a monthly chapel at 10;10 A.M. with outside speaker. You have been suggest- ed as one of a few whom they would like to hear. Suppose we came after you at 9:30 A.M. (delux equipment). and got you back in time for lunch, could you not give us an hour in the gymnasium with lectures and explanation? (Supple- mented with the fanciest high school basketball squad you ever saw). This clinic could be expanded to include neighboring schools if you desire and I believe we could get coverage by "Staff Correspondent". Please call us collect to voice your reaction. gf C. He made a seven-months tour of Europe last year, much of it on a wheel, from Sweden to the Balkans, and had an interesting time. The bicycle man of the Sun asked him to write something of his tour and for the last eight Saturdays they have been carrying instalments, In recent pictures of some Albanian towns he showed me houses in which he had been. He liked Sweden best of all and says he would like to’live there. The Germans, too, were most hospitable. It was interesting to him also to find people in the most remote places who had at some time or other lived in the States. Of course they were most pleased to see him. | I have noted what you wrote about Mr Kefith. Ossie had put your name on it, but I shall substitute the right : a author's.
