Badminton Exhibition.

Attention! Tennis, squash, hand pall players and all sport
loving fans---the new game of Badminton, a truly indoor winter
Sport is due to make its initial appearerce in Leavenworth next
thursday night, February 2, at  P.M., at the Army Y.M.C.A,
ur. George Proper the Secretary has completed arrangements

with Mr. Jim tebois | WlaeS Inetrackes at K.U., for a Badminton
exhibition to be given by a small group of players from the Club
of Lawrence Kansas,

According ie Racers the Lawrence croup will be headed by
the State's leading racket weilder Webster H. Kimball, a student
of the University of Kansas, and a player of considerable exp
erience who has won many important tournament events on the

Pacific coast. This fast, sturdy young veteran will pair with

his mother Mary N. Kimball as a doubles team against (his father

For the second match young Kim¥all will take on Mr.
Leavenworth's outstanding enthusiast.

After the exhibitions the Lawrence delegation will play
several social games with the Leavenworth devotees, Local
