Dear Dr. Allens

Mr. Edward D. Hansen of Lawrence, Kansas,

informs us that arrangements have been made with you t© supervise,

recently completed with us through Correspondence Study. We are en-
closing the questions, which you will kindly hold and present to hm
at the time set for the examination. If you are not personally ac-
quainted with the student, please require proper identification.
Identification may be through a mutual acquaintance or through such
credentials as would seem satisfactory if you were arranging to cash a
check or draft for a substantial sum, Letters from this department ad-
dressed to the student should not, in themselves, be considered
sufficient for identification.

 

The examination is to be given under the following
regulations;

1, The student till answer the questions without reference
to any books, manuscripts, or notes whatever.

2e The student is to be under your personal observation
and supervision during the entire examination, or under
the supervision of a reliable assistant to whom you may
designate this responsibility.

 

5. The student's manuscript, with the examination ques-

4, The student is to sign in your presence and return
with the manuscript, the enclosed statement of in-
tegrity and genuineness of the work submitted.
