In our recent conservation at Lawrence, I asked you to hold
the date December 20 open tentatively for our athletic dinner
heree Upon checking with the committee I find that they want
the dinner eunuiderciis sooner than that in order to avoid 7
conflict with pre-christmas eventse

I am sorry not to have been able to have you here, as I know
what we will miss, Perhaps we can make earlier arrangements
another yeare
