Dear lis Ulmer,

John Asher is not physically sick. He
wents very much to go into the navy but has been
urged to stay in school. As a result he is in
a constant state of instability.

He has not attended physical conditioning
regularly but has played golf frequently which probably
substitutes sufficiently.

I eannot recommend formal excuse from
physical conditioning but I feel thet there are
extenuating circumstances and the boy should be given
every possible consideration,
