My dear Dr. Allen:

At the regular meeting of the Faculty of the College of Liberal Arts
and Sciences on. April 19, 1938, it was voted to approve the following
requests of the Department of Physical Education:

1. That Health Instruction be dropped as a part of the
freshman physical activity requirement, and that
freshman physical activity work consist of three
periods per week, similar to that offered for sophomore
physical activity credit.

2. That the following new courses be added to the curriculum
for freshman-sophomore credit:
