My dear Doctor Allen:

I have looked through our records and find that at no time
was Mr. Malcolm Brumwell enrolled in Boxing in the fall
semester of 1935. We have the record that he was with-
drawn from Swimming, but no additional enrollment was
madee I do not feel, therefore, that we can allow credit
for work for which our office shows no enrollment.

In any case, even without this credit Mr. Brumwell needs
to take only 12 hours of work to graduate this spring,

so that no real injury is being done him. His case, how-
ever, does show the necessity of having the physical edu-
cation instructors make sure they have class cards for
a11 of their pupils for each half of the semester.
