Sam Houston State Teachers College H. F. ESTILL, PRESIDENT Guntsville, Texas DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION J. W. JONES, DIRECTOR H. Oo. CRAWFORD June 18, 1955. JOE E. KIRK RANZELL NICKELSON Dr. Forrest C, Allen, Athletic Director, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Dr. Allen: In arranging our schedule for the Coaching School, we have arranged a period on one hour and thirty minutes a day for six days for the Basketball course. We expect this period to be an early one. We did not know how mech time to give to you for your course on the treatment of injuries but decided to allot one hour a dey for that course. I hope this arrangement will be entirely satisfactory but if you have suggestions to make, please let me have them at your earliest convenience. It might be possible to run out some mimeograph sheets with an outline of your course or any material along that line that you care to hand out to the students provided it would not incur too great of an expense. In case you decide to have this material mimeographed, please let us have it at once. It looks as if our school will be a success and we will have quite a few present but as you. 1% is impossible to esti- mate numbers in a school of this kind. The hotel accommodations here in Huntsville are rather poor and I would suggest that you g¥¢g allow us to make reser- vations for you so that you can get the best available. I sup- pose that you will want it for the night before. Sincerely yours, { | x 4
