Dear Colonel Morris:

In veply to your favor of the Slst ultimo, I
would like to report that not having hed any commnication
from your office since November 28, from Major Bolte, I
had presumed that your pool of available material was
sufficient for your program at hand.

Therefore, I have taken on comaitments here, such
as Governor of Rotary International District #123, seoretary
of our County Selective Service Board, ohairman of our local
Civic Action Council. I am also councilman for the First
Ward of our city, and have assumed the chairmanship of our
University 7th War Loan drive, as well as other commmity
war activities.

Therefore, under the ciroumstances, I will not be
available.
