Your formal purchase order dated March 20th addressed
to our Kansas City office has been referred to Newark for
attention, Shipment of all requested items will be forwarded
on or before April llth via Parcel Post on our Order No, SG-
07222-A,

You will note that included in the shipment is a
new style meter chamber base assembly, While this item was
not requested, we found it necessary to include it in the ship-~
ment because of the following reason:

Some time ago the hard rubber float box assembly was
redesigned and the friction valve assembly was omitted from
the float box. The friction valve is now located in the meter
chamber base assembly, We have found from experience that the
relocation of the friction valve in the chamber base makes a
decided improvement in the operation of your equipment,

The price of the meter chamber base is $7.65, and = /_,)
while it was not provided for in your order, we are requesting oo
our Accounting Department to bill at list price for this item
and trust that you will favor us with your formal authoriza-
tion to make this change,
