t certainly was surprised and very much interested to ‘a
receive your letter of September 13. I am turning this M
letter over to Mr. Howard Herbert who has charge of our

Airfoam Sales and you will hear direct from him on the

subject.

You will be interested to know that we sell Airfoam in
slabs to Ohio State University and they use it for their
football players. They cut the pieces in whatever shape
and size they want. This would probably be the best way
for you to buy Airfoam.

Having pleyed basketball for a number of years myself
and also having hit the floor on many occasions, I am
of the opinion that you have got an excellent idea here
in putting Airfoam under your players' trousers to pre-
vent hip injuries in case of a nasty fall in a game of
basketball. ©

I am sorry I didn’t have this about twenty years ago.
it am sure I would have been a much better player. I

cences.

Frances Lee and I certainly enjoyed our game of golf
With you and we only regret that we couldn't have

early date you should write to the Tournament of
Roses Committee, Pasadena, California. I am not
sure whether they will accept applications for
tickets at this time, but at least you ean get the
full information.

It is possible for me to buy a ticket or
two through an agreement set up with the Conference
schools here, so that if you cannot work out satis-
factory arrangements with the Tournament of Roses
Committee, let me know at the end of the season.

We enjoyed having Bert with us this summer
and feel rather complimented that he chose to come
back here for his advanced work. You are going to
have to do something to his back, however, or he
is going to be an old man prematurely.
