Dr. CEcIL B. FERGUSON PHONES { — Dr. RALPH B. FERGUSON 20537 Dr. JAMES J. MCCORMICK Dr. Jos. R. LEARY DRS. FERGUSON, FERGUSON & MCCORMICK 320 SOUTH EAST FIRST AVENUE MIAMI, FLORIDA December 7, 1939 AIR MAIL Mr. Forrest C. Allen Director of Physical Education University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear "“Phog"; I was, indeed, very happy to get your letter of November 15th. I, too, have heard quite a bit about you indirectly and can assure you it was all good. I was away at the time your letter arrived - therefore the delay in answering. Now, as to the arch normalizer you mention, the outfit Max Carey used was my own which had been given to me by Mr., F. We. Long, the inventor of same. I have them in the office, and while we do not use them to any great extent, we have, in cases where used, obtained very good results, but it is like every other adjunct in an office, they are sometimes neglected when they might be beneficial. I have no doubt, and certainly no hesitancy, in recommending them to you or to anyone else who has athletes in his charge. Forrest, I understand that Mr. Montgomery is no longer connected with the Biltmore Properties although that is not definite. As yet, I have been unable to contact him, but I will surely mention your name to him when he does get in touch with me. I understand he is promoting a new news- paper to be established on Miami Beach, We are entertaining in the Orange Bowl this New Year's Missouri University and Georgia Tech, and we are looking forward to a big time. You should try to arrange to come down here at that time as we would try to show you a few things besides the game. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I am Sincerely yours, Mbt erguso “os
