Dear Doctor:
Imagine my surprise and delight when I returned from

the West Coast to find your letter and the autograph-
ed copy of your book "Better Basketball".

I am sorry I didn’t have this about twenty years ago.
it am sure I would have been a much better player. I
am getting quite a kick out of it and I can hardly
wait to get to the back where you have your reminis-
cences.

Frances Lee and I certainly enjoyed our game of golf
With you and we only regret that we couldn't have
played a few more times. However, you know that the
invitation is always standing when you are in the
vicinity.
