JUNIOR COLLEGE OF KANSAS CITY ELEVENTH AND LOCUST STREETS KANSAS CITY, MISSCURI September 16m 1940. Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Dr. Allen:- It seems that I come to you only when I am in trouble but I know of no one in whom I have more confidence. My yo@nger boy has had Asthma or some kind of bronchial disorder for the past five years. He is eight years old now. He has also developed some Hay Fever this fall. We have tried all sorts of medicine and several different physicians and have had no apparent relief. He starts out with a head eold and after a few days develops a hacking cough and then chokes up in his breathing for from 24 to 36 hourse When it breaks he is left limp almost but may seem to be alright and not have another spell for several weeks. I wanted to have your opinion as to what effect Osteopathic treatments might have on his condition. I know you are not in a position to treat him but felt that your advice would be sinwere and that you might suggest someone here who could be depended on.to give the treatments if it is your Judgement that they ought to be given. If you could tell more by seeing hia I will drive out some time soon. Mrs Morrow and Mildred join me in sincere regards to you and your family. Sincerely, as Ta Amos L Burks
