My dear Dr. Allen:

Again this year the committee on the University
Teachers Diploma is asking your help in selecting
the students who will be given the opportunity to
do supervised teaching. As in the past, the com-
mittee wishes you to consider carefully the candi-
dates whose cards are enclosed and recommend to the
committee for acceptance those who you feel will
develop into acceptable teachers in your field on
the high school level.

It is hoped that you will make every effort to return

these cards to the office of the School of Education
