COURSES IN EDUCATION* Graduate Courses The first four courses in each area are basic courses. All 200 courses are open to graduate students and to seniors. Preparation for Certificates Under the present program, facilities for study can be provided which will meet the specific course and credit requirements for various certificates issued by most State Boards of Education. For detailed information consult the dean of the School of Education. Special Fields of Study Students who enroll in any one of the special studies sections will pursue, 1s individuals or in small groups, a study of the field that the student will choose with the advice of his adviser. A final written report may be required, which may be based on library readings or may be a description and an evalu- ation of some proposed solution to a problem that the student may have studied in a school or institutional situation. Topics listed under special fields of study are suggestive only.
