Dear Dr. Schwegler:

During recent months various reports have
reached me that a vacancy would probably occur
next spring on the teaching staff of the department
of physical education.

For some time J have hoped to move from the
field of high school work to that of college.
Dr. F. GC. Allen has assured me that my qualifications
are such that I might be considered for the place
if Mr. Allphin does leave.

May I have an appointment to talk with you
on a Saturday morning some time in the near future?
My work at Wyandotte High Schhol holds me so late
that I am not free on another day.
