Minutes Administrative Committee School of Education December hy 1940 The committee met at e-thirty a. m. in Dean Schweg- ler*s office. Present were Allen, Bayles, OBrien, oe Diners te and Twente. Dean Schwegler pre- sided. Members tardy were Allen and OBrien. Minutes of Nevenhe? twenty-second and December sixth were read and approved. Dean Schwegler reported that he had been unable to see Chancellor Malott ly but had written and expects a meeting with him next week. Dean Schwegler discussed the problem of our work in the state at large. Currently there is an urgent plea for activity in the field of curriculum. The problem was discussed by the committee from many angles, including load of faculty, value of teaching as state service, possibilities in curriculum service, and so on.
