Present Allen, Bayles, OBrien, Schwegler, Turney, and Twente,
Dean Schwegler presiding.

Minutes of October twenty-eighth approved.

No unfinished business.

Dean Schwegler raised the question of subcommittee on petitions.
Moved by Twente, seconded by Allen, that present practice be
continued with same personnel, Prof. Chandler ex officio. Carried.
Dean Schwegler pointed out that there is considerable pressure

by the administration and the registrar for rulings on a variety
of matters such as (1) status of students (fr., so., jr., sr.)

(2) conditioned students.

Extensive discussion but no action taken.

Adjourned by common consent to meet a week from today at three-
thirty, same plece.
