My dear Dr. Allen:

Thank you very much for the copy of the radio program,
and believe me when I say that I was very glad indeed
to serve you. I hope that our joint presentation did
not clash too much and that it may have been useful to
some.

I note also what you say with reference to the last
faculty meeting. I appreciate, of course, that you had
many obligations and we will be more than glad if you will
come when you can and see to it that the remaining members
of your staff represent the department adequately.
