Dear Phog: Junior Jacobs is a freshman at the university. He should be out for the freshman basketball team. I think he is afraid he is too small for college basketball. Junior was captain of my team for two years. He is a fine ball handler, a-good defensive man, and is a very agressive and fast floor man. He is small for college basketball but I am sure he would make a valuable man. He is smart, has a fine attitude, and would be an asset to any basketball squad. Junior might not make your varsity squad but he is a prospect worth looking over. He lacks size and has a tendency to hurry his shots but he has the ability to put zip and hustle into a ball club. He is likeable and is a great morale builder. With kindest personal regards and a Sincere wish that you have another successful season, I am.
