Dear Mr. Allen:

It is with great pleasure we understand that
the University of Kansas will play in Baltimore
this coming basketball season. It has been the
good fortune of the Lord Baltimore to be the host
to a great many athletic teams during their stay
in Baltimore and we extend a most cordial invita-
tion to the University of Kansas to make this their
headquarters while in Baltimore.

- Our special athletic retes will prevail, which
is $2.50 per person in single rooms or $2.00 per
person in our twin=-bedded rooms. These rooms are
our better rooms which sell for $6.00 and $6.50
double occupancy so you will be assured one of the
best accommodations that will be procurable in our
community. The Lord Baltimore is the newest, the
largest and truly one of America's finest hotels.
Each room equipped with bath, shower, radio and
finest of modern appointments. We will be only too
happy to have our Maitre d' work out a training
table schedule as soon as you let us know your
wishes in regard to this matter.
