Dear Phog:

As you prubekls remember, I stepped out of ny
coaching job at Wyandotte High School at the beginning of
the war and went into industry. Financially, I am better
off than if I had stayed in the teaching game, but I always
felt that the time would come when the defense job would
be finished and I would be forced to go elsewhere.

7 I am at that cross-road right now. Without a.
P.H.D., I can't find whet I want in industry. Down deep
in uy heart, I want to get back into coaching. I have
been wondering whether it would ever be possible to do
some coaching at a University while studying for that
advanced degree.

If you should hear of ieee @ ‘combination, or
if you should hear of any good school that needs a basket-

ball coach, I would surely appreciate hearing from you. I

 

still think I can do the job.
