Dear Eddie;

Iwas just ever to talk with Ray Nichols this morning,
and he has a swell jeb lined up for you as soon as you like
here on the campus. The veterans are coming in so rapidly
that Mr. Leonard Axe needs help, so if we never had any teach-
ing for you to do, he thinks he has a personnel job for you
in the Administration Building, meeting the veterans. I
know that you will like it because it is right down your alley
meeting these boys and orienting them.

The Chanceller asked the Senate to give him authority
to appeint a committee that would pass on the veteran's
credit, ete. for graduation. That was done and the jeb
has been bigyer than they had ever anticipated, so you are
to be one of their very good helpers, and I know you will

you will have happy news for Mendaye Of course, we will
want you to leok in on us as ofter as possible with the view
of getting into the swing of things as soon as baad en eee
