Dear Phogs

Thank you so much for sending me a copy of Number Fifteen,-
Jayhawk Rebounds. I am happy, however, to report that this is not my
first contact with your extremely interesting newsletter addressed
essentially to men in service. My father has been sending me the
copies which you have given to him.

 

I can well realize what this newsletter means to the men in
the armed forces throughout the world. I know that I have written
to some five hundred men from our school here who are now in service;
and I finally had to resort to a form letter something on the order
of your own newsletter. But I must acknowledge that is wasn't nearly
as complete or interesting as your own. Even though these facts are
true, the men from the school here have told me how much the form
letter means to them.
