Dear Lieutenant Eddie:

I was delighted to have your letter and to know that
you had such a fine time in New York. ‘This fellow Matty Bell is one
of the grandest guys that I know of. I heartily agree with you re-
garding Pat Kennedy . :

Frankly, I don'+ think the Big Six te so hot. They do
a lot of talking but they are just where they wore when Oklahoma, \
Nebraska and Missouri were going out after them. And the other three |
 gehools were crying, "Illegal". In the Missouri Vallen, Oklahoma A.
and M., Tulsa, and until Creighton dropped out, were exorcising their
own idea of eligibility rules. Now the Big Six says it is all right —
to go out after them. In other words, they are just now admitting S
‘that Snorter Luster and the boys who broke all the rules were right,
heed onewr Kansas State, ane Iowa State were simps, ——_e—
whet I mean.
