Dear Mr. Allen:

We went to find a man to handle our football,

basketball and physical education for the year 1944-
1945, I thought perhaps you might be able to help us
locate a man who is not subject to the draft. We
would be interested in a man that has had some success
in the field or in.a ‘young man just starting out if he
shows promise. JI know this is a pretty large order,
but our last coach and physical education man is going
into the navy this spring and this program is too im-
portant to drop with out making every effort to find
aman.

We would also appreciate any information you
may be able to give us concerning the salary required
to attract a worth while man to this position. Thank
