Dear Phogs

The message of your letter of February 22 will be delivered to
the Phi Psi's at their noon luncheon next Thursday.

I delayed answering your letter because I intended to report
that it had been done; then I could not make the luncheon last
Thur sday «

The further delay was my bright idea that by waiting until

after the Monday night game in Ames I could combine the acknowledg-
ment with my congratulations on the winning of another Big Six
Championship. Unfortunately Louie Menze's boys had other ideas,

so the best that I can do today is to congratulate you on the
certainty that Kansas will this year do no worse than tie for the
Championship, and I am confident that the boys will take Oklahoma
Friday night to win the title and to preserve that phenomenal
record of consecutive victories on their home court.

Please extend to the team my congratulations on their successes
to date and my very best wishes for good luck Frifay night.
