Dear Sirs

i We acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 29th,
end note your comments regarding the defective basket-
ball which we recently returned to you, which you stated
in your letter that it was coming forward to us.

However, up to the present time, this ball has not as
yet been received, and in the event that it has not been
returned to us no doubt the'enclosed letter will be
useful, which we received the day after we received the
balls from the Reach Co. they replacing one of them.

They state that the other ball is not of their manufecture
and therefore would not be subject to eny guarantee.

The balls were originally sent to the A.J.Reach, Wright &
Ditson Co. which is a division of the Spalding Corp., and
they stated neither of the balls were of their make,

end they in turn forwarded them to the Geo. A.Reach Co.,
and one was theirs and as the letter states the meanufactur=
er of the other ball is unknown.

We therefore hope that in the event that you have not re-

turned the ball to us as yet, that you can determine as to
where the ball was originally purchased, as we do not be-

lieve it is one that we have supplied you originally.
