Dear Phog:

After receiving your phone message yesterday we immed-
lately wired the Medart Company to forward the two pair
of backs and two pair of goals direct to the Robinson
Gymnasium as per your request.

We received their reply telegram this morning which they
state as follows:

"Will ship University of Kansas Backs and
Goals Thursday afternoon October 10th."

Apparently Phog, that is the best they can do and we
should imagine that they would arrive in Lawrence either
the llth, or not later than the morning of the 12the
Hope these are in ample time for your requirements.

Want to thank you very much indeed for the order and

by the way hope you can make a basketball player out

of Joe Elliott.

He is a fine kid and has plenty of energy and if he
gets interested I know he will try his best.
