Dear Doce:

I have just read with considerable interest
the article about America's most famous basketball
coach in the December 28 issue of Saturday Evening
Post and, naturally, it is with considerable pride
that I am able to say to my friends “he was my coach,"

I should say thet the story is very well
written and if any of it is not entirely accurate,
the human interest aspects would undoubtedly offset
any such shortcomings.

I noted in yesterday's papers where the boys
had a little difficulty Saturday night in Madison
Square Garden but am sure they will give the usual
extraordinery account of themselves throughout cone
ference competition.
