Dear Phog:

Now that all the shouting is over I want
to again tell you of my tremendous admiration for
the sportsmanship which you and your team always
exemplifye

Mother and dad wrote to me quite often
during the tournament periods and forwarded to
me all the clippings from the Kansas City Star.
I, of course, get the Journal Worlde These
clippings are turned over to our own coach of
basketball who is most interested to receive theme
Probably the clipping which pleased me most was one
describing your son Bob's answer to a roguish shout
from the gallery, by sinking the tieing goal against
Southern California, and finally winning the game
with the charity tosse Apparently dad and mother
nearly died of heart failure during that game.
They are certainly great rooters for Kansas, and
I know also how they pull for youe
