Dear Phog:

I know you are getting very impatient about those
special socks that you ordered from us and we have
been firing a letter to the factory every day or
two for the last week.

At the present writing we have not received a reply
from them on the subject, but are hoping to get

one by Wednesday of this week and we sincerely hope
that their reply comes in the form of an invoice,
indicating that these socks have been shipped.

I just want you to know, Phog, that this is not our
fault. We usually try to give a lot better service,
but this as you will recall is a special sock.
