I think you know too how disappointed I was
to miss you in Lawrencee Somehow I didn't recognize
Eleanor when I gave her the card, and I guess she
didn't recognize me either. We did have such a
splendid trip in the West and enjoyed thoroughly every
moment in Lewrencee Helen stopped off in Pittsburgh
to spend the week with her parents, but she is coming
home Saturday. Life will seem more like living again
when she comes homee

Do, Phog, on some of your trips to New York
call us and give us a chance to see youe I think you
know how thoroughly I appreciated the kind remarks
which you made in your letter and how highly I do
regard youe
