To Our Many Friends, Everywhere:

So many letters and messages of congratulations and
good wishes were received in connection with our annual
birthday party last night that it is a physical impossi-
bility to answer them all individually. Will you, there-
fore, be good enough to accept this "collective" letter
as our sincere apprecitaion of your thoughtfulness.

In connection with the letters received from teams,
and particularly American teams, we were deeply touched
by the obvious sincerity which prompted each message of
good will. Without exception these messages spoke of the
fairness of the treatment seeeived while in Edmonton as
our guests, and we can assure you that this expression of
real sportsmanship has touched us deeply.

To all those who in any way contributed to the suc-
cess of the evening we can merely say "Thank you," but we
can assure you that this little message of thanks comes
from the hearts of us all.
