4. Institution shall file with the Commissioner its list of approved football officials, to be known as its Preferential’ List, listing in order of preference, at least soven Referees, seven Umpires, seven Head Linesmen, and seven Field Judges, selected cxclusively from the Eligible List, who may be appointed to that Member Institution's games during the following season. . (b) On or before April 15 of cach year, Member Institu- tions shell file with the Commissionor its list of cpproved basket- ball officials to be known as its Preferential List, listing in order of preference at least twelve officinls, selccted exclusively from the Eligible List, who may be appointed to that Member Insti- tution's games during the following season. (c) A Member Institution may file a single Preferential List effective for its entire schedule, or, at its option, may file separate Preferential Lists for any certain games in the following scason, but in either cese the requirements prescribed above in (a) and (b$ nust be obsorved. (d) After a Preferential List is filed, no change in such list may be made for that football or basketball season for which the list is filed except that a Member Institution may add additional names providing the sequence of nemes cs originally filed is not disturbed. (e) If a Menber Institution's Proferential List(s) for any season is not filed with the Commissioner on or before January 1 for foothall, and April 15th for basketball, of the year concerned, then its Preferential List(s) for the preceding year shell becone effective and be used for the current year. (f) If less than seven Referees, seven Unpircs, seven Head Linesmen and seven Field Judges, on the current Eligible List, are naned on the Preferential List(s) filed by « Member Institution, the Commissioner shall have full authority to add as many nomes of his selection as mey be necessary to bring the number of names in each of the aforenentioned groups to the required seven. NOTE: more officiclis could be added, (g) If less than twelve basketball officials on the cur- rent Eligible List are naned on the Preferenticl List(s) filed by a Member Institution, the Commissioner — shall have full authority to add as nany names of his selection as may be necessary to bring the number of nenes tc the required twelve. (h) If a Member Institution fcils to file, on or before gonucry 1 0 Prererentinl List for football end April 15 for basket-. ball, for any geome on its schedule for tho next following season, the Comnissioner mey, at his option, prepare and file the required Prefcrential List for that game. In so doing, the Cormissioner shall give full consideration to such Member Institution's preferences already on file or as may be known to hin. SECTION 2. (a) On or before January 1, of each year, each Menber Institution shall file with the Comnissioner a list of all football gones then scheduled for its varsity tean for the following season, showing the opponent, time, place, and date for each gane.
